PAIGE MORRISSEY

ABOUT
My name is Paige Morrissey and I am a content creator and sketch comedian from Syracuse, New York. I'm currently based in Los Angeles. I just graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television and Digital Media Production. I am open to work in Los Angeles and am seeking opportunities in content creation, social and digital media roles, and production roles in film, TV, and comedy.
When I joined my high school comedic news show as an "anchor" on camera, I quickly knew comedy was something I wanted to pursue. It wasn't long before I became executive producer, writing skits for my teachers and fellow students to act in. My interest in producing content for people led me to Ithaca College, where I study television production and the work that goes into making this content behind the scenes.
I try to experience as many parts of the entertainment industry as possible. At Ithaca, I have produced an award-winning 30 minute live weekly news show, as well as create reporter packages highlighting people and places around the Ithaca area. Outside of school, I have partnered with American High, a Syracuse-based production company who has a first-look deal with Hulu, to create 'American High Shorts'. We write, perform in, and edit sketches that have reached millions of viewers on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and TikTok.
When I moved to Los Angeles, I worked at Slash Management. A talent management place for multi-hyphenated artists. I worked as a production and talent management intern. I assisted with studio operations for client podcasts, photo and video shoots. I built 3-camera set ups, lighting, and audio for our shoots and was responsible for gathering footage and even editing. Additionally, I created development pitch decks client content for managers, and assisted with writing social media scripts and media calendars for clients. I learned so much in this role about all aspects of the entertainment industry, through the lens of a managerial role.
